Mere-sama / メレ様

Yuka "Mere-sama" Hirata is appearing in the TV anime "Cross Game"
as a voice actress.
I think that she has been working as a voice actress since last year.
I hope that she will be successful in this way(, too).


「メレ様」こと平田裕香さんが、TVアニメ「クロスゲーム」に
声優として出演しているんですね。
平田さんは確か、去年から声優のお仕事を始めているはず。
この道で(も)成功してほしいものです。

Eas / イース

Eas, also known as Setsuna Higashi, from "Fresh Pretty Cure!" is cute.
I like bad girls in fiction like her.
I might make entries named "This week's Eas" in Buliding 2
if I lived in Japan now.

I hope that Setsuna will keep playing an important role
after the fourth Pretty Cure appears.


「フレッシュプリキュア！」のイースこと東せつなが可愛いですね。
こういう、フィクションに出てくる悪役の少女は好きです。
今あるふぁ郎が日本に住んでいたら、弐号館で
「今週のイース」なんて記事を書いているかもしれません。

4人目のプリキュアが登場した後も、せつなは
重要な役でいつづけてくれることでしょう。

Ace Attorney Investigations / 逆転検事

The Nintendo DS game "Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth"
(Japanese title: Gyakuten Kenji)
will finally be released tomorrow (in Japan).
Will the full name of Shiina, the assistant of Shiryu Ro,
be revealed?

Influenza (H1N1) (Swine flu): Part 3 / 新型インフルエンザ（豚インフル） その３

In Japan, the number of the people infected with influenza A (H1N1)
has suddenly increased in recent days.
I am supprized at this.

We should think that there are infected people
everywhere in Japan right now.
I didn't say "there will be."
I did say "there are."

Let's be more and more careful not to spread it any more.


日本での新型インフルエンザの感染者が、
ここ数日で急に増えましたね。
びっくりです。

これはもう、現時点で国内のあらゆる場所に
感染者がいると考えるべきでしょう。
「これから現れる」のではなく、
「今いる」のです。

新型インフルをこれ以上広めないよう、今まで以上に注意していきましょう。

Swine flu: Part 2 / 豚インフル その２

Some Japanese people finally have been infected
with the new influenza last week.
However, this doesn't mean that the game is over.
After all, the most imporant is
not how we could stop the infection then,
but how we should minimize its speading now.


新型インフルエンザの感染者が、
日本でも先週ついに出たようですね。
しかし、これでゲームオーバーではありません。
一番大切なのは、
その時どうすれば感染を防げたかではなく、
今どうやってその拡大を最小限に抑えるかです。

Swine flu / 豚インフル

The new type of influenza (Influenza A) which broke out in Mexico
has been speading all over the world since last month.
The number of infected people has also been increasing
in Europe, where I am living at present.
Let's be very careful not to get infected with it
or not to spead it any more.

メキシコで発生した新型インフルエンザ（インフルエンザA）が、
先月から世界中に広がっています。
あるふぁ郎が現在住んでいるヨーロッパでも、
感染者が増え続けています。
これに感染しないよう、またこれ以上広めないよう
十分に注意していきましょう。

Day of Showa / 昭和の日

I didn't know that April 29th was renamed "Day of Showa."
I didn't know that "Greenery Day" was moved to May 4th, either.


4月29日が「昭和の日」になっていたことを知りませんでした。
「みどりの日」が5月4日に移動していたことも知りませんでした。

Neuro: Final episode / ネウロ最終回

"Private Evil Eye Nougami Neuro," written by Yusei Matsui,
has finished serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump.
That was good job, Mr. Matsui.

I wanted to know what was the "Nazo" about Akane-chan's death.

でも、あかねちゃんの死にまつわる『謎』が何だったのかは知りたかったです。

The Restart of Haruhi Suzumiya? / 涼宮ハルヒの再開？

"The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya," a TV anime which was broadcasted in 2006,
is being broadcasted "again" now.
This may be a preparation for the start of a new series in July,
especially, for the episode about the July 7th....

2006年に放送されたTVアニメ「涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱」が、
現在「あらためて」放送されています。

Daylight saving time / サマータイム

Daylight saving time (summer time) is applied in the country where I am living now.
Just after switched to it in March,
I felt as if we lost an hour.
But I don't mind it because we will get it back in autumn.


あるふぁ郎が今住んでいる国では、サマータイム制が適用されています。
3月に夏時間になった直後は、
一時間損したような気分になりました。
秋には取り戻すわけですから、別に構わないんですけどね。
